 In the year 1988 Mr. D.N Pradhan a hospitality & nature lover on the foothills of 3rd highest peak mighty Mt. Kanchendzonga came up with a noble idea to start a venture as a Holiday planner. So he came up with an idea of opening a travel agency; company named BAYUL (A Hidden Paradise), Bayul was established in the year 1990 in Gangtok, registered Gangtok, registered and recognized by Government of Sikkim. This was with an idea to bring in more people from all over the globe to introduce them to the beauty of Sikkim and Darjeeling including the foothills of Himalayas. The united motive was catering the needs of Travel & Tourism for the North - East India, as a responsible tour operator, especially to different places of Sikkim, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Assam, Bhutan & Nepal. During the initial period majority of the customers were foreigners from Europe & Japan, during 1992 –2001 and has been providing the best quality of services to all the travelers.
